It is so dark in November, right? Here where I live it is already pitch black at 5pm š« and I am a morning person š¤·š»āāļø
I thrive in the mornings after my coffeeā¦ (š¤something to consider here I guess).
I usually eat the first time between 1pm and 2pm and then the downtrend startsā¦
5pm comes and I feel I am done for the day.
Thatās when I normally study (watch, listen or read) so I cannot get my head around people going to the gym, for example, at this time.
I just canāt šš©š„“
If you are wondering what else do I eat during the day (just had a conversation about this with a friend)ā¦the answer is: well, not very much else to be honest.
After having a proper meal at say, 2pm AND bearing in mind I go to bed early AND I donāt like to go to bed āfull upāā¦I cannot possibly have another meal but just a snack.
So my friend was saying that it is not enough and not normal to do that and it got me thinkingā¦š¤
Truth is, I have never eaten too much in quantity and, fair saying that I have always kept a āhealthyā weight so, something I must be doing well here.
(note the self-observation, one of the keys āto live lifeāš)
My highest weight was, funnily enough, after 2020 (pandemic timeā¦anyone else?).
I suppose that forced to be indoors and ātreatingā yourself with food (compensating for the mental/emotional stress) was a factor.
And another one (I am sure you all resonate with) is being in a relationship and getting too comfy š«
Too much sofa/Netflix time and ānice mealsā with ānice drinksā and ānice dessertsā (because, you knowā¦we only live once and blah, blah, blahā¦).
I put on weight then, like quite a lot (proof šš»šš»).
The only advantage to that was that my tits were gorgeous (she says with nostalgia) but, other than that, I felt so heavy that it was uncomfortable.
Nutrition is a tricky one and I am not here to give nutrition advice BUTā¦
I have recently had a question from a fan asking my opinion on weight/sexual attraction.
He said (just an extract):
āā¦We both put on some weight, but the past year I've been very motivated to getting in shape and she hasn't. She doesn't have motivation for doing much that is not food or drink related. I feel embarrassed and a bad person for saying this and, in fact, I havenāt told anyone except yourself because I donāt know how to do it.
Sex has been hard for me lately because when we make love I can't finish because of the body odour. I really love her as a friend because she's a very sweet person but I cannot take this anymore.
Apart from this, I also think we've grown apart and want different things. I don't know how to talk to her about it and I feel really guilty for feeling this way. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.ā
Isnāt it interesting?
Well, it is for me.
Lots of keywords there: life motivations, growing apart, sex issues, guilt, embarrassmentā¦ and the one that I want to highlight: isolation.
Heās alone on this.
How is it possible that, sometimes, there are some issues that you cannot TELL anyone?
I understand that my role in here is the (unofficial) therapist and I go back to my idea (another one of my crazy out-of-the-box ideas) that we all should have a ātherapistā figure in our lives.
You know? Like a mentor.
Do you remember āThe Karate Kidā?
(God I loved that film so much!)
So, in the same way, Daniel finds a mentor in Mr. Miyagi we should all have a wise figure like that in our lives!!
Through unique training that doubles as life lessons, Miyagi not only teaches Daniel self-defence but also helps him find confidence, resilience, and inner peace, guiding him like a therapist as much as a karate teacher.
There you goā¦ Iāll say it.
I cannot offer you to learn self-defence š but I can help you with inner peace and guide in the same way I have teachers that teach it to me.
My point is that we are all Danielās and Miyagiās because we all have different skills, gifts and, ultimately, wisdom.
There is a common saying somewhere (or I might just be making it up most likely) that says something along the lines of āanyone can teach anything to anyone who is 2 steps behind himselfā
And that is an incredible truth.
The times where only people with a degree CAN teach are over.
It ended when the Internet was created really.
And donāt get me wrong!
I am not trashing tittles and high education studies, of course that you still need those to officially be a professor or teacher at an official Institution within the system (and Oh boy, does the system needs change!).
They are useful and necessary BUTā¦
there are āother waysā too and, especially, when you are an old owl like myself youāre not precisely thinking about going to Uni, right?
Not that normally you have the time either soā¦we have the wonderful Internet and the great Youtube to make that happen.
Point beingā¦Mr. Miyagi had no degrees and changed Danielās life.
So yes, I am working of making that happen as I am getting more and more signs and, honestly, starting to believe this is my life path.
Nowā¦ how on earth did I have to start selling nudes online to get to here?
Well, only God knowsā¦ life can be really funny, canāt it?
Current affairs
I donāt know if you saw my videos on the Valencia tragedy and the members videos of how I experienced it. It was a really tough week.
I did not mention in last weekās letter so hereās the video in case you want to know more.
And thenā¦
The US Elections
I donāt give a shit about politics.
I am a mystic.
But I acknowledge they are (somehow) needed.
But I donāt think what we have (and I mean around the world, not just in America) is far from being an honest and functioning system that helps to ārun a countryā IN THE INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE.
Letās take the definition of Democracy:
Democracy is a system of government in which power is vested in the people, who exercise it directly or through elected representatives. Itās built on principles of equality, freedom, and participation, ensuring that citizens have a voice in decisions that affect their lives and that leaders are accountable to the people.
THIS IS NOT WHAT WE HAVE.
People think that by voting for X or Z, theyāre getting a voice, and that elected leaders will work for their interests and wellbeing.
THAT IS NOT THE CASE.
They believe that if their representatives do wrong, those leaders will be held accountable, that theyāll have to answer to the people.
THAT ISNāT TRUE EITHER.
So thenā¦I am sorry my friend butā¦ does the color of the party even matter?
Red, blue, greenāit might as well be the color of your wardrobe because, in politics, it means nothing.
Why?
Because the capitalist world we live in dictates the rules.
Politicians donāt act in the people's best interests, and even if some mean well, theyāre trapped in a system designed to serve profit and power over people.
This video is just my views on what really matters in order to change all this mentioned above.
In a nutshell, I say that we need change at multiple levels and a philosophical shift on how we approach democracy, economics and education.
Cultural values are directed to individual materialistic profit instead of to the collective wellbeing.
We need values like empathy, community, and sustainability to build a world where people come before profits.
My message is that we need to shift from the ālove of powerā to the āpower of loveā and thenā¦ everything will be fixed.
It canāt be that difficultā¦
āTo love a person is to wish that person goodā
ā Thomas Aquinas
And that is all for today folks.
Love (of course)
