Hello from the shadows, but don’t worry, I’m not hiding.
I’m just catching my breath.
Because if I don’t slow down and become more conscious of what I’m doing with my life, I’ll end up locked up for “mental issues” (and I’m not joking). And honestly, you should probably slow down too.
Six years into this digital adventure, I’ve learned something people rarely talk about but everyone’s quietly suffering from: digital burnout.
It’s that emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion caused by constant online activity and digital noise.
But here’s the thing - it’s not just the consumers who are drowning in it. It’s us, the creators. The ones constantly feeding the machine. We live in what I call digital productivity burnout (a modern plague where your worth is measured by how often you post).
And that’s against human nature. We are not machines.
So, I’m changing how I do things. And I do it for survival.
Actually, I’ve been halfway there for a while, just look at my Youtube channel 🙈 but just feeling guilty about it (guilty for not being “productive” enough).
But guilt is gone.
From now on, I’m embracing intuitive creation.
What does that mean?
It means I’ll “create” when I feel it - when inspiration calls, when my soul has something to say.
Not because I “should,” not because I might lose followers, not because of an algorithm.
I’m dropping all the “have to”s and “should to”s and letting the artist inside me finally breathe.
I don’t expect everyone to understand this - especially in a world where people expect constant entertainment for the price of a coffee🫥. But I’m not asking for permission. I’m taking it.
The Rise of the Machine
I saw something wild online recently - AI can now create a complete singer: the music, the voice, the personality, everything.
Basically, a fake artist. A digital Elvis.
And yes, that’s as insane as it sounds.
Now, don’t get me wrong - I’m not anti-AI. That would be like being against the internet when it began, or cell phones when they first arrived. It’s here to stay. But there’s a difference between using technology to enhance life and replacing life with technology.
And creating fake artists? That’s not progress. That’s extinction of the human soul in art.
Because machines don’t have souls.
They don’t feel longing, heartbreak, lust, or love.
They don’t know the quiet ache of existence.
And yet, we’re now expected to compete with them - tireless, soulless entities who don’t burn out, don’t age, don’t doubt.
It will only get worse until it starts (hopefully) getting better. So where does that leave people like me, or her, or him, or them… or you?
It leaves us with one sacred power left: discernment.
Discernment is the ability to make wise, intelligent judgments by perceiving, understanding, and distinguishing things clearly, especially when they are not obvious.
You, the receiver, must decide what’s worth your attention, your time, your money, your heart. And especially, who is worth supporting.
Because every time you choose real over fake, you keep humanity alive.
I don’t know exactly what’s coming next - but I know it’ll be sudden, shocking, transformative, and unexpected.
(Astrology confirms this, by the way. The sky’s been screaming it for months.)
So while we wait for the next wave, here’s what I’m doing: creating less, but creating consciously.
Not from obligation. From awareness.
Because awareness is always the beginning.
Of healing. Of truth. Of art.
Of everything.
Love,
Rose 🌹
