Happy Green Friday!
Wait, what??
Yes, I know out there they are all claiming to be Black Friday...
BUT
not in my world.
I go the other way, remember?
I mean, truly, give this a quick thought with me.
If you don't like something existing in your world AND (very important AND) there is something you can do to change it, why wouldn't you???
Because yes, I am not that stupid, sometimes you cannot do anything to change things.
I was born in Spain and I will never ever speak English like Kamala Harris, I mean...ever.
There is nothing I can do to hide my accent so why to bother?
Or, dunno, I became a Mom 18 years ago today!!
I cannot and DO NOT WANT to change that for anything in the world!
I know!
Mad huh!??
So yes, today is a big day :)
Back to the other way...
My point is that you CAN change things.
Einstein, who was a clever man considered one of the greatest scientists of all time said that:
Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results
But want to know a secret?
I don't believe that.
He probably didn't say that at all, there is no evidence.
But this world is full with all kinds of information that we fall for, hook, line and sinker.
However, I don't care who said that, he or she or them or #';][ was damn right!
And that time of believing without question what someone else says is coming to an end.
It is time to Defy Gravity my friends!
Defy Gravity
Please, don't take this literally.
If you are on the edge of a cliff and you jump, you fall.
This is not someone else saying it...it is a Natural Law.
This is a symbolic way of saying that it's time to go the other way.
Just a side note:
This is all the Bible is about, by the way, it is all symbolic language of the time. There was no Eden or talking snake or forbidden apple, it's all an allegory and the official interpretation...well, again, who interpreted it?
The Church?
That church that emphasizes love, compassion, honesty, forgiveness, humility, and service to others, but that, in the name of God, killed thousands of people in the middle ages, crusades, etc?
That church that allows a part of the world starve while accumulating material wealth beyond believe?
I said this was a side note but I could write for hours no end about this.
My point (again) is it is time to question a LOT of the things you think you know.
Wicked
I went and saw this at the cinema with my, now adult, daughter and Oh man!
Yes, I knew about The Wizard of Oz story but never paid enough attention.
This is another side-story so to speak about the two witches.
The Witch of the West and Glinda.
Let's not spoil it but, let me say, OH-MY-GOD the hidden meaning!
I am so impacted that I literally wanna be fucking green.
So this movie is only the first act and next year the next will come out so it is only a part of the story.
Oh FFS I want to spoil it!!
OK, stop reading NOW if you are planning to watch it.
The witch of the West believes blindly in the Wizard of Oz (God) and has this ideal that, the best thing in life is to meet him (enlightenment).
She does her best (be good and you'll go to Heaven) in order to achieve this and so, finally, she's invited to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard (her dream).
In her mind, because there is a thing going on at the University (the world) where animals (the regular you and me) are being hunted and caged (distracted and misled into false beliefs) she's hoping to ask the Wizard, who she believes to be powerful (God) to help and avoid this from happening.
In other words, to save the animals (let them be free).
When she gets there, she is given an encoded book (The Bible) and she's asked to prove that she is the "chosen one" by attempting to decode it.
She hesitates (her human limited mind) but, finally, believes in herself fully (connects with her soul) and she's: yes, I am ready to prove it.
She actually does prove it as she can read it.
She casts a spell as a test with the guards of the Wizard (agents of control that happen to be monkeys, but that's beside the point).
In doing so, she gives them wings but she realises that the spell is causing them harm and she wants to undo it but she's told she can't.
Following some comments from the Wizard (the made-up religious God) and her partner in crime (the Institutions and real rulers of the world) she suddenly realises that they are a fake and that they cannot read the book themselves.
They don't have any power.
The Wizard of Oz is a regular person who, blinded by the greed and craving for power, has built a yellow brick road (religions) for people to follow thinking that it leads to HIM (salvation).
She then has a Dark Night of the Soul (awakening) and, really knowing and loving herself stands up and owns her truth.
This is really amazing when the Wizard asks her:
But you now can get rid of your green color (being different to others) with your powers, is that not what you ever wanted?
(he's projecting his own ambitions and cravings).
And she says:
No, all I wanted is to free the animals (humanity) from their cages.
Wow, huge moment there!
The real awakening.
That is what she wanted to ask him for (selfishly serving to others) because she thought he had the power to do so.
But as it turns out, the power is within her, she actually has that power (we all do) and all it takes (not that is easy) is to take it.
How?
Owning your truth and not following the yellow brick road but going the other way.
The way that your intuition tells you to go.
(I am literally having a cosmic orgasm right now typing this)
Friends of Midlife Erotica, many clever people have said it throughout history.
Think of this Wicked story as the actual Bible.
Both were written in metaphors and allegories so it could go under the radar of the dark forces that, in this duality world of form, exist.
You have the choice of just going to the cinema and believe the literal story (two witches who met at Uni in a fantasy world and blah, blah) or read between the lines and find the Truth.
In the same way, you can believe that an Almighty God created the world in 7 days and the first human out of mud
(like...really?)
and then built an Empire (the Vatican) and a holy book telling you what's right or wrong and what you can or cannot do while doing exactly the opposite of what they "TEACH".
How do you own your Truth?
There are probably thousands of books about this, they are called "self-help" books and yes, most of them are horse shit.
Truth is never related to having more money or more power or looking better or younger or finding "the one"🙄...
Truth is connecting to a higher force that somehow (we'll never know while in this human body) created all this incredible milli-metrically perfect and infinite Universe.
It is a mystery, yes, and mystery is uncertainty.
Living in uncertainty is the nature of God.
God is oneness.
God is impersonal.
God is love.
God is life.
God is law.
God just...IS.
You don't find it in a book and certainly not in a church.
You find it within because is in the air you breath, is in watching your cat sleeping peacefully, is in an orgasm even...
God is everywhere omnipresent (that's exactly what this word means).
You only find it in the present moment, now, right now you can have that second of bliss where there is nothing but …nothingness and, at the same time, wholeness.
I hope this inspire you and makes you think cause most people don't think by themselves and, as a result, the collective consciousness is dumbed and the world around us, in the last 2,000 years, has not but taken us to a point where, if we don't tell the Wizard to literally Fuck Off, we're going to be in trouble to survive as species.
Too Dramatic?
Well, yes but think of this...we, the ones who are alive today, won't see the end if there was to be one... so it is not even that important for you and the life you've built for yourself, right?
But you are me, and I am you and we are all interconnected so, in the interest of all, let's take our power back and defy gravity, shall we?
Much love and clarity,
Rose 🌹
